Fielden Street


The Fielden Street development forms part of the overall re-generation of the Camlachie area of Glasgow. It comprises a mix of 52 residential units; three storey terraced townhouses, a 4 storey flatted block and one 6 storey block all set around a combination of public and private outdoor spaces, including a community garden and play space. The structural form of the six storey block comprised a large section on the corner of the façade cantilevering out over the structure below. There were also recessed panels in the masonry which required careful consideration and collaboration with the architect to allow the structural support to be incorporated seamlessly into the building design.
